Paul McCartney and his new wife Nancy Shevell were nearly the
victims of a helicopter crash when the pilot of the craft became disoriented in
some nasty weather and nearly collided with trees. The pair were on their way
home to East Sussex, England earlier this year when weather conditions caused
the 55-year-old pilot to lose track of his altitude, coming within two feet of
trees.
