Knighthood could be the next honor for Rock & Roll Songwriters Hall of Famer Van Morrison. According to The Telegraph of Belfast, Morrison is under consideration for the Queen's New Year's Honours List.
Morrison's supporters submitted his name in recognition "for his services to music." He would join Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Elton John, Tom Jones and Cliff Richard in that honor.
