Linda Ronstadt made a stunning announcement last Friday. The singer has been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and it has robbed her of the ability to sing.
The 11-time Grammy winner sat down for an interview with AARP which will soon be posted on its website. Ronstadt said, "When I finally went to a neurologist and he said 'Oh, you have Parkinson's Disease,' I was completely shocked. I wouldn't have suspected that in a million, billion years."
Linda's memoir, Simple Dreams, will be released on September 17th. Her illness is not mentioned in the book.
