Jon Bon Jovi says he has no plans to still be performing when is 75, and is amazed by the likes of Paul McCartney and The Who, both of whom will be on the bill with Jon at tomorrow's 12-12-12 benefit concert for Hurricane Sandy relief at Madison Square Garden in New York City.  Jon says, "I'm (bleeping) dying already and I'm gonna go out there and play four songs.  How do they do it?"

Deana Martin says her father Dean Martin's long-running TV variety series was a place "where people are feeling comfortable.  He was endearing.  He did that in his nightclub act.  You felt like you were in his living room.  He just made you feel at home."  The series will be released in an Ultimate Collection DVD set with 17 discs containing 48 episodes--and more than 300 musical performances.  We play a lot of Dean Martin around Christmastime.

The E! Network will air a Rolling Stones special on December 15th ahead of their pay-per-view special.  Live from the Rolling Stones will air at 7pm on December 15th ahead of the group's final show of the year at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.  E! is promising interviews with the Stones along with behind-the-scenes footage from the venue.

Fleetwood Mac is making preparations to hit the road in 2013.  Stevie Nicks recently told Rolling Stone the legendary band would hit the road for a spring tour next year, their first since 2010.  She said, "2013 is going the year of Fleetwood Mac."  She and Lindsey Buckingham have also recorded new songs for release next year.

 

Cliff Richard is a busy guy these days.  The British rock 'n roller just announced his 10-date British tour that begins June 1, 2013 in Yorkshire.  He'll also take part in the 2013 Hampton Court Palace Festival along with Frankie Valli.

Glen Campbell is considering scheduling more shows in 2013.  According to the Tennesean, Glen's manager said recent shows on the west coast have been the entertainer's strongest since he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.  Glen plans to break from the stage over the holidays, and if he feels strong, he'll schedule more dates.
